We are seeking an entry-level Construction Project Manager to support the execution of hospitality and commercial projects from pre-construction through installation. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized, detail-driven, and eager to learn the full lifecycle of construction project management.
This is a hybrid position based out of the Nashville, TN office. You will work closely with senior project managers, procurement, logistics, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. Travel is required based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities -
• Assist in managing construction and FF&E installation projects from kickoff through completion
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, warehouse & install) to ensure project alignment
• Support scheduling, budgeting, and tracking of project milestones
• Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and databases (Salesforce/Axle)
• Assist with vendor communication, order tracking, and delivery coordination
• Monitor project progress and flag risks, delays, or discrepancies
• Participate in site visits, walkthroughs, and installation coordination as needed
• Support invoicing, billing schedules, and financial tracking
• Ensure all project data is accurate and up to date across systems
Qualifications -
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Hospitality, Interior Design, or related field preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in construction, project management, hospitality, or related industry
• General Contractor (GC) experience or exposure preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office tools (experience with Salesforce a plus)
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

As a Designer I, you will evaluate, select, and perform in a self-directed manner in all aspects of the interior design process, including preparation of presentation materials, schematic design, design development, contract documents, renderings, and construction administration activities within an established budget, schedule, site, and programmatic requirements.
This is a hybrid position based out of the Nashville, TN office. The position will be reporting to the Senior Director, Design.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities -
• Performs tasks according to specific guidelines under general supervision of Senior Designers.
• With minimal supervision develops design concepts, space planning, and FF&E selections and produces presentations to present to management.
• Assists in day-to-day coordination efforts required to produce a set of Construction Documents and FF&E Specifications; namely the research, communication and documentation required to execute the project effectively.
• Overall knowledge of the design process, including design documentation, FF&E specifications, color and materials.
• Displays creative interior design skills including concept development, hand sketching, and selection of materials, color palette, and FF&E.
• Implements all planning and design into AutoCAD.
• Present clear and concise concepts.
• Ensures daily and weekly tasks are completed.
• Interested in all areas of design including interior architecture, furniture design, and graphic design.
• Possesses a strong understanding of design principles and theory.
Management & Leadership -
• Meets regularly with management to discuss design direction, general tasks, project challenges, schedules, upcoming meetings and deadlines.
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining accurate records of all project-related FF&E and finish selections.
• Attends meetings as requested by management, takes notes, and provides documentation of meeting notes.
• Executes delivery of documents, samples and general correspondence to consultants as needed.

• Produces in Excel, architectural/finish schedules.

• Performs shop drawings and submittals reviews at the direction of management.
• Supervises and/or performs site observations and installations as required by management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Excel.
• Some knowledge of Revit and SketchUp with a desire to advance knowledge in both programs.
Experience & Education -
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in hospitality or residential Interior Design.
• Bachelor/ Master’s Degree from an accredited Interior Design/Architecture program.
• Degrees must come from a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program or NAAB-accredited Architecture program.

As a Project Coordinator, Procurement, you will be an essential member of the Procurement and Project Management team with focus on coordinating all procurement efforts. You will share overall responsibilities of executing multiple projects with your assigned team of Project Managers and Director. The support you provide will be directly related to the projects success and overall service fees earned to support the greater business.
This is a hybrid position based out of the Nashville, TN office. The position will be reporting to the Director, Project Management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities -
• Planning, organizing, implementing, and executing project objectives pertaining to Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) and Operating, Supplies & Equipment (OS&E).
• Ensures each project is completed on time and within the contracted budget requirements.
• Completes project purchase orders and ensures timely delivery of quality materials.
• Coordinate logistics for all deliveries that are vendor shipped (JIT, warehouse and on property storage). For all 3PL, partner with logistics if Dessin Logistics is contracted, if outsourced, then procurement is responsible for managing this as well.
• Responsible for material expediting, identifying any potential late product and mitigating risk of not having material on site at the time of project start.
• Assists in review of samples, seaming diagrams, and shop drawings.
• Confirms sample room timeline and coordinates material delivery. (if applicable)
• Manages and audits material ordered, shipped and received. Escalates any risks to the Project Manager.
• Monitors and resolves receipt/inventory issues with receiving locations.
• Research and resolve any project related discrepancies and disputes.
• Maintain all project communication and files based on the company’s organizational structure.
• Review accuracy between interior design specifications, vendor quotes and shop drawings.
• Identify items that have been long lead time or discontinued and work to provide alternate selections.
• Manage damage & loss claims and log.
• Assists with project closeouts.

• Hospitality and construction knowledge (preferred).

• A proven track record of project management experience in organizing, planning, implementing processes and procedures.
• Current knowledge of hospitality vendors (preferred).
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally.
• Excellent communication and being able to communicate with different target audiences.
• Strong interpersonal / teamwork skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of organization.
Experience & Education -
• 3+ years of progressive work-related experience in project management, procurement, sourcing or design related fields.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Psychology, Human Resources or relevant field. An equivalent combination of education or work-related experience can be reviewed as an exception to education requirements.
• Hospitality or experience related to Dessin’s services is not required, but strongly encouraged.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
